Demographics

Spartanburg County School District Three, located in the eastern part of Spartanburg County,  is approximately three-and-a-half miles wide and 14 miles long.  The district includes an area of 71 square miles with seven schools.

The district is governed by a citizen Board of Trustees consisting of nine members elected at large.  They serve four-year terms on a staggered basis.  The superintendent is appointed by the board.

 Hours of Operation 

  • District elementary school hours of operation are 7:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

  • Middle school hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 3:06 p.m.

  • High school hours of operation are 7:55 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

  • Hours of operation for the District Office are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
