American Folklife Center

The American Folk life Center incorporates the Library's Archive of Folk Culture, which was founded in 1928 as a repository for American folk music. Among the topics featured on the site is a multiformated feature on migrant workers (pictures, songs, music) and a feature on California Gold (music of the thirties). 

ArtsEdge The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts sponsors this site.  Among the features are child-safe links to other resources, student art gallery, and research links.
Art Safari Kids explore paintings and sculptures from the Museum of Modern Art. A series of questions guides children to write about what they see. Then, kids are encouraged create and submit their own art.
Draw Cartoons Draw Cartoons with Uncle Fred lets the child select the cartoon he/she wishes to draw.
Imagination Studio Learn to draw in 3-D.
