Broome High School is located in the eastern section of Spartanburg County and was constructed in 1975 to accommodate the consolidation of Cowpens and Pacolet High Schools. Student population at Broome is about 900, drawing from surrounding communities of Cannons Campground, Clifton, Converse, Cowpens, Glendale, Pacolet, Pacolet Mills, and Whitestone.
