My Brother's Keeper Honors Dr. Little and Mr. Goode

This morning, members of My Brother's Keeper honored Dr. Susan Little and Mr. Rodney Goode for their help in the creation and establishment of their organization.

My Brother's Keeper is an initiative that came to District Three through a grant process. It addresses opportunity gaps to ensure that all young people can reach their full potential, focusing on entering the school day ready to learn, reading, graduating High School Ready, instilling strong values, and keeping kids on track.

Dr. Little and Mr. Goode, in addition to Mr. Dunlap, Mr. Conn, and Mr. Forney have helped make MBK a huge success at Clifale Middle and we are so grateful that these young gentlemen have such wonderful leaders and guidance!

Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Ms. Wyatt!

She joined Spartanburg School District Three two years ago, after relocating back to the area with her husband, an alumnus of District Three. Expressing great enthusiasm for teaching middle school language arts, Ms. Wyatt said, “My favorite thing about teaching ELA in middle school is getting students hooked on books. I love to see and hear them become excited over books that I have read or that they want me to read. Middle school seems to be a perfect fit for me!”
