IA-CogAT testing

All second grade students in the state of South Carolina are screened for identification for the Gifted and Talented program. Spartanburg School District Three’s Gifted and Talented Program begins in grade three. The identification of gifted and talented students is a multi-step process that consists of screening and referral, assessment of eligibility and placement. Students identified this school year can begin services Fall 2021, if they meet the South Carolina criteria for gifted qualification. Students who qualify receive advanced and enriched instruction during the school week.

Applications for Christmas Assistance

Families with students in Spartanburg School District Three who would like to request assistance with Christmas must complete an application.  In-person applications will not be taken due to Covid-19 restrictions.  All applications must be submitted by November 30th to be considered for assistance. Welcome to Pacolet Elementary

Pacolet Elementary School is a diverse rural school located within the town of Pacolet. The schools serves approximately four hundred students: pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. Pacolet Elementary School offers a three-year-old child development center to serve the needs of our community. The commitment of all stakeholders in the Pacolet community has assisted in the continued increase of student achievement. Teachers and staff are dedicated to making learning fun, interactive and engaging.
