District Overview

Spartanburg County School District Three, located in the eastern part of Spartanburg County, is approximately three-and-a-half miles wide and 14 miles long. The district includes an area of 71 square miles with five schools and a shared technology center.

District Three is governed by a citizen Board of Trustees consisting of nine members elected at large. They serve four-year terms on a staggered basis. The Board appoints the Superintendent.

District elementary school hours of operation are 7:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Middle school hours of operation are 7:45 a.m. to 3:05 p.m.

High school hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Hours of operation for the District Office are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
