Spartanburg School District Three to remain closed for remainder of 2019-2020 school year

Per Governor McMaster's orders, all school districts in South Carolina will remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.

This is, of course, not the way we would have wanted this year to finish out. We are making it a priority to hold as many events for seniors as we can. Our Superintendent is committed to holding events like graduation.

Instruction is continuing. Your student's school will be in touch on how to get assignments.

Meal delivery will also continue. District Three delivers five days of meals on three different delivery days. If you need to be added to this delivery list, please contact your student's school.

We'd like to take this time to thank everyone who has helped make this closure work so well. Our secretaries are keeping school offices running; teachers are working long hours; cafeteria staff, maintenance crew and bus drivers are making meal delivery and deep cleaning seamless; our nurses are continuing to ensure workers are healthy and principals and administrators are making sure the District remains open, invoices and packages are dealt with and any problems that arise are dealt with immediately.

As always, if you have any questions, we are here and working for you. Please feel free to reach out to your student's school or the District Office at 279-6000.
