Congratulations to Broome Baseball and Softball!

All four teams (JV and V softball and JV and V baseball) walked away with wins on Tuesday evening! 

JV and Varsity softball got their region wins over Clinton: JV won 13-7 and Varsity won 14-0. Special shout-out to junior Bella Angeli for her dinger over left-center.

JV baseball defeated Woodruff 6-5. JV threw two runners out on the final play of the game to secure the victory. Sophomore Will O' Shields picked up his second win of the season on the mound and sophomore Paul Lee picked up his first save on the season. 8th grader Hayden R. led the team with two hits and three RBIs.

V baseball defeated Woodruff 4-1 in a Region III-AAA matchup. Broome improved to 6-5 on the season. Jeb Dawson continued to impress on the mound, pitching a complete game. Dawson allowed one unearned run and allowed only one hit. He was perfect through 5 1/3 innings. Dawson struck out 17 Wolverines on the night and only walked one. Dawson is now 4-0 on the season. Dawson has 60 strikeouts in just 28 2/3 innings pitched. His era has dropped to 1.43. Broome was led offensively by Adam Stacy, Braxtin Turner, Brady Jones, and Dylan Ramirez. Broome is back in action tonight at Chesnee. JV at 5:00 and Varsity at 7:30.
