Hello! I am April Barnhill, and I am 43 years old. I live in Gaffney with my husband K.C. and our 3 children. K.C. and I have known

each other since middle school and have been married for 11

years. Our daughter, Charlie, is 9 years old, our son, Conrad, is

7, and our youngest, Collin, is 5. All of them will be joining me at PES this coming year. We also have a new baby in the house.

Juniper is our Boston Terrier that joined us over our 2020

quarantine. I attended Clemson University and graduated in 2000 with a BA in Elementary Education. I moved to Raleigh, NC for my first job and lived there for 2 years. Then I moved home and worked for Cherokee County School District. I taught 3rd grade for 3 years and 2nd grade for the remaining 15.

During this time, I added a Masters degree in Integrated

Teaching through the Arts through a cohort from Lesley

University and I also added Early Childhood to my certification.
