In an effort to help our families plan as we transition safely back to a 5-day on-campus school week, here is the plan for students for the next two weeks. Thank you for remaining flexible as we navigate our way, slowly, steadily and safely back, to ensure the safety of our students, teachers and staff.

In an effort of full disclosure and to keep our parents fully informed, we will be providing information daily when notified by DHEC that a student or staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. DHEC will also follow up with contact tracing and provide specific information for the students and staff who are determined to be in “close contact.”

Thanksgiving break is almost here! Thanks to this year’s USDA regulations and waivers, we’re able to provide our on-campus students with a 5-day meal kit, filled with breakfast, lunch and Thanksgiving favorites! Due to predicted forecast conditions from the National Weather Service, Spartanburg District Three families are likely to have wind and wind gusts stronger than 35 miles per hour tomorrow due to Hurricane Zeta. Because we are unable to safely run buses and will always prioritize our students’ and staff’s safety, Spartanburg County School District Three will have an eLearning day for all students for tomorrow, Thursday, October 29, 2020. Your child’s school will be in contact with you or your student about eLearning assignments.

Families with students in Spartanburg School District Three who would like to request assistance with Christmas must complete an application.  In-person applications will not be taken due to Covid-19 restrictions.  All applications must be submitted by November 30th to be considered for assistance.
