We officially broke ground Wednesday morning on Gettys D. Broome High School's state-of-the-art weight room facility!
The 6,000-square-foot facility will feature 24 weight stations, providing students with additional space and equipment to support strength training and athletic performance.
The celebration comes as Broome High School marks its 50th year. In addition to the weight room, the project will include 76 parking spaces. The facility will be ready for the 2027-28 school year.
