Robotics Team

Daniel Morgan Technology Center’s Robotics Team made an incredible debut at the FIRST Robotics Competition Round 1!

In just two months, our team designed, built, and programmed their robot while preparing for their very first competition. After 50 rounds of matches over Friday and Saturday, the team qualified 5th out of 25 teams at the event and placed 9th overall in the district out of 40 teams.

To top it off, the team was honored with the Rising Star Rookie Award — an outstanding achievement for a first-year team!

This accomplishment was made possible by the hard work and dedication of our team members: Gabriel Castillo, Aiden Smalley, William McGuane, Caleb Easler, Muny Chea, Serenity Thompson, and Briasia Thompson, along with their instructors David Thornton, Clint Swofford, and Hal Garner.

We are incredibly proud of this team and look forward to seeing what they accomplish next!
