Broome Softball will play at Powdersville tomorrow (May 3rd) at 6:00 pm in an elimination game. Admission is $8.00 and only High School League Passes will be accepted.

Our boys golf team will play in the Upper-State Championship on Monday, May 6th at Cherokee Valley. Start time is 10:00 am.

Our baseball team lost a tough game last night in 12 innings at Crescent. We will play at Woodruff tomorrow (May 2nd) at 6:30 in an elimination game. Admission is $8.00 and only High School League Passes will be accepted.

Ms. Foster’s Environmental Studies students harnessed solar energy to cook S’mores in their DIY shoebox ovens.

Girls Soccer will play at Walhalla on Tuesday at 6:00 pm in the first round of the playoffs.

Congratulations to these students who will represent Broome at Palmetto Boys State and Palmetto Girls State.



The date for our Region golf tournament has been changed. It is now April 30th @ 10:00 am at Willow Creek Golf Course.

Here is information for the 1st round of Baseball and Softball Playoffs:
• 4/30 – Baseball @ Crescent, 6:30 pm
• 5/1 – Softball @ Pendleton, 6:30 pm

Our JV & Varsity soccer matches that were scheduled for today at Rock Hill have been canceled. These games will not be re-scheduled.

Our boys tennis team will travel to Daniel High School in the first round of the tennis playoffs on Tuesday, April 23rd. Match time is 5:00 pm.

Ms. Lee’s English 1 Honors students presented their research on revolutions throughout history during their study of Animal Farm by George Orwell.





Mrs. Rogers' Native American Studies class visited Cherokee, NC, for a tour of the Museum of the Cherokee People and Oconaluftee Village. It was a day filled with lots of great firsthand information and fun!











Spring practice begins May 6th!



Congratulations to Mrs. Liz Cooksey, the BHS Teacher of the Month. Mrs. Cooksey teaches World History and US History. She is also the SGA sponsor as well as the Varsity Volleyball coach.


Elizabeth Bishop, BHS senior and Miss Spartanburg Teen Volunteer, spoke to Mrs. Ford’s Leadership class about the importance of becoming an organ donor.



We are less than a week away from the Spartanburg County Track and Field Meet at Broome High School!
The meet is scheduled for Tuesday, April 23rd and Wednesday, April 24th. Here's what you need to know:
• Gates will be open on the home and visitor’s side of the stadium. Fans can utilize parking on both sides of the stadium.
• Admission is $5.00 per day. Cash only at the gate.
• Only South Carolina High School League Passes will be accepted.
• We have a clear bag policy – Information attached.
• No animals allowed except for trained service dogs.
