
Our competitive cheer team will compete in the state championship on Saturday, November 23rd, at 1:14 pm at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia. Admission is $15.00 and only High School League Passes will be accepted. Here is information about admission:
• Colonial Life Arena will be open to the public beginning at 10:15 am. Spectators must enter Colonial Life Arena at the main entrance located on the corner of Lincoln St. and Greene St. $15.00 for everyone. (3 & under are admitted free.)
• Tickets can be purchased in advance through Ticketmaster https://www.ticketmaster.com/schsl.../event/2D006168BD633A39
(A QR code is also attached to this email, which you can use to purchase tickets). Tickets can also be purchased at Colonial Life Arena's box office.
• No outside food or drink can be brought in.
• No bullhorns, airhorns, cowbells or other noise makers.
• Spectators will be allowed to bring in signs that fit the perimeters of 24"L x 18" W. If attached to a paint stick, the stick must be shorter than 8 inches.
• Colonial Life Arena has a clear bag policy.
• Fans will not be permitted to reserve sections of seats.
• The SCHSL Pass Gate will be in the lobby of the main entrance of Colonial Life Arena.

• Our boys cross country team will compete in the state championship on Thursday, November 21st at 1:30 pm! The meet will take place at the Farm, which is the home course for Newberry College. Investigator Michael Mapstone with the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit spoke with Ms. Foster’s Forensic Science class about using forensic techniques to solve crimes.


AVID 9 students visited Clemson University for a campus tour to learn more about opportunities after graduating high school.

Mrs. Kanipe's teacher cadet students participated in "Teacher Cadet" day at Limestone University. They toured the school and talked one on one with Limestone students and professors.

SAT/ACT Workshop


The Miss Centurion Pageant invites any Broome female who is interested in participating in the 2025 Pageant to attend an informational meeting on Thursday, November 21st. The meeting will explain important pageant dates and deadlines, scholarship opportunities and more.


We have a couple of athletic updates to share:
• Our cross country teams will be competing in the State Qualifier on Friday, November 15th at 1:00 pm at Fort Jackson. Boys will run at 1:30 pm and girls will run at 2:00 pm.
We also have information for Friday's first round playoff game. Our Centurions will face Powdersville @ Powdersville. Game time is 7:30 pm.

Here is information for our varsity football @ Woodruff this Friday, November 8th at 7:30 pm. 🏈
• Spectators will need to park at First Baptist Church across from the stadium or in the student parking lot between the stadium and the school. Spectators can also park in the softball/soccer stadium parking lot. This lot is located behind the school on highway 221 and is a 5-minute walk to the stadium. If you would like to park there, the GPS address is 11331 Highway 221 Woodruff, SC 29388.
• Tickets can be bought online at www.hometownticketing.com or for cash only at the gate. Admission is $6.
• Metal detectors will be used, and a clear bag policy will be in effect. Students under the age of 18 must present an ID if they don’t enter with an adult over 18 years old.
