Congratulations to Sarah Burnett for being our second semester Pacolet Elementary Teacher Spotlight winner from Teacher Forum with Spartanburg County School District 3! She is an amazing teacher who's compassion and dedication shines through her work with the 3rd-5th grade students in special education! She builds strong relationships and advocates fiercely for her students. She creates a classroom environment where each student feels loved and welcome. We are so lucky to have her as a member of the PES family!

We kicked off our 15 days of December dress up with Santa's Ho Ho Hoedown!

Four District Three teachers had the honor of presenting today at the South Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics Fall Conference (SCCTM)!

Mrs. Ivy Garner and Mrs. Ashlyn Taylor of Pacolet Elementary School shared their work on success criteria, while Mrs. Wanda Noblin and Mrs. Ashley Moore of Cowpens Elementary School highlighted the new math standards on probability.

We are proud of these exceptional educators, who were selected by the SCCTM committee to present at this statewide event.

Mrs. Camby and Mrs. Jolly’s class are having fun with partners practicing addition and subtraction within 5.

Congratulations to Harper P. (1st place), Lorelei W , (2nd place), and Kaylee S. (3rd place) for their amazing spelling during our Spelling Bee on Monday! We are so proud of these students and all students who participated!

Our Santa Picture fundraiser will take place November 21st!

We are looking forward to celebrating our 15 days of December starting December 1st!

Its time for our annual Clemson vs. Carolina canned food drive! Everything collected will go to the Benjamin E. Mays food pantry.

Don't forget about our Veterans Day program that will take place on November 7th at 9:00 am. If you or a family member would like to participate please fill out the form sent home with your student. Pete's Reading Challenge is officially underway! When students met their reading goal, they are able to get a book from our book vending machine.
