
Students in Mrs. Price and Mrs. Lemmonds' class enjoyed some pre-Easter fun. They made creative dot bunnies and dyed eggs to prepare for their how to writing.



Students in Mrs. Mathis and Mrs. Snapp's 4K class enjoyed dying eggs today with our special volunteer, Mrs. Batts.

Kids Club will be hosting a summer camp at Pacolet Elementary school for rising 1st- rising 6th graders. Check out the flyer for additional information!

Mrs. Buice’s 2nd-5th grade WIN time groups enjoyed a month of “March Madness” while preparing for testing season. ELA Comprehension and writing made “fun” while working on team skills. Students shot real baskets depending on their score for each passage. Congrats to all the teams!







Mrs. Burnett's class practiced counting money. What a fun & important skill to practice!



Fifth graders scanned the library collection for first lines from library books they thought were excellent first lines that made them want to check out the book. Next week students will vote for their favorite in a Famous First Lines March Madness. This activity helps students find new books they may like to check out!





Kindergarten students enjoyed a quick brain break making “spaghetti” and “pizza” with rhythm sticks.

We finished up a successful Career Week with several more career presentations and enjoyed a career dress up day. Thanks to all who participated!










The Singing Panthers sang for the senior citizens at the TW Edwards Center.


We had some visitors arrive by helicopter today for Career Week! Students watched the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office fly in and land in the grassy field. Then they had the opportunity to hear a career presentation. Thank you to the Sheriff's Office for this exciting demonstration!




We've had a fun-filled week for Read Across America Week! From Family Literacy Night to the Book Fair and dress-up days to the guest readers, reading was celebrated at Pacolet Elementary School!











During Family Literacy Night students' work was showcased throughout the school. Various grade levels planned presentations, debates, opinion writings, and biography reports to share with visitors. We appreciate all of the hard work from students, teachers, and their families to make this a memorable event!











First grade students wrote and illustrated books on topics of their choice. Families were delighted with stories when they joined the student authors at Family Literacy Night!











We enjoyed having all of our families join us for Family Literacy Night! 5K had a lot of fun making words.











Kindergarten students in Mrs. Price’s class used different materials to make models of 3D shapes.
