Broome Football take on Riverside Friday night in Landrum at Landrum Night of Football! Our Centurions play at 6 pm Friday. Here is some information to know before you go: • Admission will be $5.00 • SCHSL Passes will be accepted at the gate • Cash only at the gate • Spectators will only be able to enter the stadium on the home side. We will utilize the parking lot directly across from the stadium as well as the student parking lot. • The visitor's side of the stadium will NOT be used during Landrum Night of Football • We have instituted a Clear Bag policy as well as an Unaccompanied Minor policy. Please make sure that your school & community are aware of these policies. Our gates will open at 5:00 pm. Spartanburg School District One has a Clear Bag Policy, which restricts the types of bags that can be brought into the event venues. Only one clear bag made of plastic, vinyl, or PVC that does not exceed 12 inches x 6 inches x 12 inches in size will be allowed per attendee. Prohibited bags include backpacks, purses, diaper bags, and any bag larger than the specified clear bag size. Additional clothing, blankets, etc. are permitted if carried loosely or in an approved clear bag. Additionally, Spartanburg School District One has a No Unaccompanied Minors Rule in effect, which prohibits unaccompanied minors from attending high school athletic events. All attendees in the 8th grade or below must be accompanied by a responsible adult or parent. High school students with proper identification will continue to be granted access to the event. Parents or guardians of non-high school kids may not “drop off” their child at a high school athletic event or leave that child unattended.

The Broome High School Athletic Department will be honoring the 2004 State Championship Football team on Friday, September 6 when the Centurions host the Spartanburg Vikings. We are looking forward to celebrating the 20th anniversary of our 42-34 win against Cheraw. Stay tuned...more information to come!

Our friends at C & C Thunder Custom Cycles are holding their Back to School Drive now until August 7th! If you'd like to donate school supplies for our students, you can drop them off at C&C Thunder Custom Cycles (4868 South Main Street). Broome Softball will play at Powdersville tomorrow (May 3rd) at 6:00 pm in an elimination game. Admission is $8.00 and only High School League Passes will be accepted.

Our boys golf team will play in the Upper-State Championship on Monday, May 6th at Cherokee Valley. Start time is 10:00 am.

Our baseball team lost a tough game last night in 12 innings at Crescent. We will play at Woodruff tomorrow (May 2nd) at 6:30 in an elimination game. Admission is $8.00 and only High School League Passes will be accepted.

Girls Soccer will play at Walhalla on Tuesday at 6:00 pm in the first round of the playoffs.

The date for our Region golf tournament has been changed. It is now April 30th @ 10:00 am at Willow Creek Golf Course.

Here is information for the 1st round of Baseball and Softball Playoffs: • 4/30 – Baseball @ Crescent, 6:30 pm • 5/1 – Softball @ Pendleton, 6:30 pm

Our JV & Varsity soccer matches that were scheduled for today at Rock Hill have been canceled. These games will not be re-scheduled.

Our boys tennis team will travel to Daniel High School in the first round of the tennis playoffs on Tuesday, April 23rd. Match time is 5:00 pm.

We are less than a week away from the Spartanburg County Track and Field Meet at Broome High School! The meet is scheduled for Tuesday, April 23rd and Wednesday, April 24th. Here's what you need to know: • Gates will be open on the home and visitor’s side of the stadium. Fans can utilize parking on both sides of the stadium. • Admission is $5.00 per day. Cash only at the gate. • Only South Carolina High School League Passes will be accepted. • We have a clear bag policy – Information attached. • No animals allowed except for trained service dogs.

Our JV & Varsity softball games scheduled @ Landrum on April 22 have been moved to Wednesday, April 24. Game times are 5:30 pm & 7:30 pm.

We have added a JV girls soccer game vs. Dorman on Wednesday, April 17. Game time is 5:30 pm.

We have re-scheduled our home C-Team baseball game vs. Dorman for Monday, April 15 @ 6:00 pm. This game was originally scheduled for Friday, April 12.

Our track meet scheduled for tomorrow has been moved to Monday, April 15th. Senior recognition will begin at 5:15 pm.

Our JV soccer games scheduled for today @ Boiling Springs have been canceled.

Today's golf match @ Landrum is cancelled.

Game time is 5:30 pm.

JV Baseball @ Blue Ridge has been canceled for today. The varsity baseball game time @ Blue Ridge has been moved to 7:00. We also have information on April 8 Schedule Changes: • The game time for our JV Baseball game vs. Landrum has been moved to 6:00. Varsity will follow at 8:00. • Our JV softball game @ Woodruff has been canceled. The start time for the varsity softball game at Woodruff has been moved to 7:00.
