Cannons Elementary School 5th grade students delivered an outstanding performance of "We Haz Jazz" last week. Students also had the opportunity to showcase their impressive jazz-inspired artwork. Way to go, Champions! 🎷🎺

The District Three Transportation Department proudly wore pink on Friday in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Joining them for this special occasion was 7-year-old Adaline, the niece of bus driver Ms. Katie Henson.

Adaline was diagnosed with cancer at a very young age and is now celebrating six years in remission! Thank you, Adaline, for sharing your inspiring journey with us!

A Contestant Interest Meeting for the Miss Centurion Pageant will be held on Wednesday, November 12th.

We are honored to officially welcome Dr. Uzee Brown, Jr. and the late Mr. Larry Hodge as the inaugural inductees into the Spartanburg School District Three Hall of Fame.

On Friday night, during halftime of the Gettys D. Broome High School varsity football game, we celebrated these two outstanding men.

Superintendent Dr. Julie Fowler, Board Chairman Mr. Chris Jolley, and Vice Chairman Mr. Deion Logan presented Dr. Brown and Mr. Hodge’s family with commemorative trophies in recognition of their lasting impact on our schools and communities.

It's Game Day, Centurions!

Our varsity football team plays MVP tonight at 7:30 pm. Prior to the game, we will recognize our seniors.

All senior fall sport athletes, Band Members, JROTC Cadets, & their parents/guardians need to report to the track at 6:40pm to begin lining up for Senior Night. Please use the steps closest to the senior banners to access the track.

Congratulations to the Broome High School Royal Regiment Marching Band! The Royal Regiment attended the 2A State Marching Band Championships this past Saturday where they placed 9th overall in Semifinals and qualified for State Finals for the 3rd year in a row!
During their Semifinals run they placed 6th for an Overall Music Ensemble score.
They placed 12th in Finals and were only a half a point away from their original 9th place finish earlier in the day. This is also the highest the band has placed in more than 12 years at Semifinals.
We are all very proud of our Royal Regiment Marching Band students!

We're proud to be one of only four school districts in South Carolina to receive an Innovation Grant from the SC Department of Education!

Thanks to this grant, students in elementary, middle, and high school will have the opportunity to take part in leadership training through the Maxwell Leadership Foundation, beginning this school year.

Founded by John C. Maxwell, the world’s top leadership expert (as named by Business Insider), the foundation has trained leaders in every country around the world.

This program will help our students grow into strong, values-driven leaders by focusing on respect, courage, and responsibility — preparing them for success in and out of the classroom!

Broome High School will host the Region III AAA Cheer Competition on Thursday, October 23rd beginning at 6:00pm. 📣

Admission will be $10.00 and only South Carolina High School League passes will be accepted.

Safety Town rolled into Daniel Morgan Technology Center this week, bringing hands-on career exploration to our students!

Organized by SC Career Kids, Safety Town features miniature businesses and roads where students can explore a variety of careers and industries in a fun, engaging environment.

Second-grade students in Spartanburg School District 3 and Spartanburg School District 7 had the opportunity to ride tricycles through town, discovering different career paths and meeting professionals from a wide range of fields along the way!

Students from Daniel Morgan Technology Center's Early Childhood program also played an important role, serving as ambassadors and guiding younger students through the experience.

The event also featured 8 interactive stations focused on pharmacy and STEM-related activities.
Thanks to our friends at SC Career Kids for such an impactful and engaging experience for our students!

Our home JV football game scheduled for this Thursday vs. Union County has been moved to Thursday, October 23rd. 🏈

Game time will be 6:30 pm.
