Cannons Elementary School students enjoyed hands-on lessons today from ArtsNOW! 🎨
These lessons, aligned to our state standards, are made possible through a grant secured by Cannons Elementary School.
Here, Kindergarten students had the chance to learn about shapes and the important role each shape plays in the design of a school bus, while 1st grade students learned about articulation and communication.

Spartanburg School District Three once again has the opportunity to participate in the “Christmas Shoes” project! 👟
This project provides shoes for students in our district. If you are interested and your child/children are in need of new shoes, please contact your child’s school to complete a form. You can include information on any other children in your home.
All forms must be completed by October 3rd. The shoes will be delivered to school before the Christmas Holiday. Please make sure you have the correct sizes and if the shoes are infant, toddler, youth or adult size.
For small children or students in elementary and middle school, please go up half a size.

Mrs. O’Dell, who serves as our Personnel and Benefits Coordinator, began her journey with District Three on September 8th, 1975. She quickly became an integral part of our district.
Her distinguished record of service and integrity has made a profound impact on generations of colleagues and community members, and we are proud she is part of the District Three family.

Students in Mr. McAninch's and Mr. Moore's Social Studies classes at Broome High School enjoyed a field trip to Kings Mountain National Military Park last week, where they explored the historic site of the Battle of Kings Mountain and deepened their understanding of Revolutionary War history.

The Benjamin E. Mays Alumni Association will host a Birthday Commemoration honoring the late Dr. Benjamin E. Mays tomorrow, August 2nd, at the Benjamin E. Mays Family Center from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
The center is located at 850 Sunny Acres Road, Pacolet, SC 29372. This flyer from the Benjamin E. Mays Alumni Association has information regarding the special commemoration.
The Broome High School Athletic Department will be selling athletic passes & issuing senior citizen passes on Wednesday, August 20th & Thursday, August 21st in front of Broome High School from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
Our varsity baseball team was rained out last night at St. Joe's. We will resume play today at 4:30. We are up 3-1, top of the 4th with 1 out and the bases are loaded.
